Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie entered a guilty plea earlier today (September 22) on drug and weapons charges stemming from an arrest that occurred last October.
Local Louisiana news network WAFB reports that Boosie was scheduled to go to court this coming Monday, but pleaded guilty today in an effort to avoid trial. He was sentenced to two years in jail, but depending on his behavior he may only have to spend one year behind bars.
“I’m just ready to get all of this behind me and get further along in my career,” he told the station. “I plead guilty, it was in my best interest."

Janet Jackson To Become A Mom
Janet Jackson, who confirmed she is no longer dating Jermaine Dupri, recently spoke about new single status and becoming a mom. She tells Harper Magazine, she is keen to be a mom even if it is not the traditional family setup. As for marriage, she doesn't know if she will go that route unless God has it in his plans for her, which also goes for children, rather adopting or becoming pregnant.

In other mommy news, Jennifer Hudson says she hasn't gotten used to leaving her new baby at home when she has to work. The songstress performed at VH1's Diva's Show last week but says her precious little man wasn't far from her thoughts. On a Kre-Note, I wonder when we will see the precious bundle of joy. They grow so quickly, and I still can't believe my little one is 11 months old today.

Kim Faces Lawsuit For Song
Sources say Kim from the Housewives of ATL is facing a lawsuit for the song "Tardy for the Party", after she failed to pay producer Don Vito. The song was pulled from iTunes on Monday afternoon and sources say her website was shutdown. Songwriter and co-star Khandi had turned the country song into a hip dance track, so those who were able to download the song before it was pulled were lucky.

Khloe & Lamar Wed Sunday
Rumors began circulating over the weekend that Khloe Kardashian and boyfriend of four weeks, Lamar Odom had gotten engaged after talks of rings. Looks like now sources are reporting that the couple will tie the knot this Sunday, in a quickly put together ceremony in Los Angeles. So fast, that guests are being notified via telephone, that invitations are arriving this week and to RSVP. With Kourtney pregnant and possibly marrying baby daddy Scott, and now Khloe getting married, where does that leave Kim? She hasn't been much in the limelight since her split with Reggie and tech sisters having their own show. I'm sure there is some news lurking around the corner involving Kim.
